JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and execute an HR Global strategy for PIP EMEA and facilitate change management in support of business growth objectives while maintaining a focus on delivering value to the business.
  • Develop capabilities and coach leaders on critical people initiatives related to workforce planning, talent acquisition, onboarding, performance management, succession management, organizational design, compensation, benefits and other people programs and cultural initiatives.
  • Collect and analyze HR data to drive a culture of data-driven, continuous improvement to proactively identify trends which can improve business performance.
  • Lead, coach and develop regional HR practitioners to provide strategic and tactical HR capabilities while working closely with the global HR centers of excellence (COE) leaders to ensure harmonization with global practices.
  • Ensure compliance with labor law, policies, and procedures within each jurisdiction where PIP EMEA operates and maintain required record keeping, reporting and employment practices.
  • Facilitate the development and execution of effective employee engagement practices that support a collaborative and productive work environment positioning PIP as an employer of choice.
  • Accountable for the development and management of HR budget to maximize financial expenditures and optimize organizational performance.
  • Participate in due diligence activities related to mergers and acquisition and facilitate effective integration activities to align HR practices, integrate cultures and accelerate organizational efficiency post-merger.

CORE SKILLS/COMPETENCY REQUIREMENTS

  • Previous experience in a multi-location or regional HR leadership role supporting various work groups including office, field, distribution, and manufacturing employees.
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels of an organization, influence others and facilitate conflict resolution.
  • Strategic thinker who is capable and willing to be hands-on possessing the confidence and agility to work within a multinational, matrixed organization focused on change management and continued growth.
  • Demonstrable track record of capturing and implementing continuous improvement initiatives within a HR role which drive business outcomes.
  • Knowledge and experience navigating and complying with relevant employment laws across a multi-country operation in EMEA.
  • Experience with administration related to pay practices and statutory benefits.
  • High level of cultural and self-awareness with the ability to coach and develop both direct and indirect reports within a matrix organization.
  • Post merger & acquisition business integration experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience working with works councils and unions preferred.

REQUIRED SKILLS FOR SUCCESS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Advanced degrees or relevant certifications are a plus.
  • Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in business development, sales, or account management, with a track record of success in Europe. Experience in B2B sales, with a focus on complex solutions or enterprise-level products, is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the Europe markets, cultural differences, and regional dynamics. Familiarity with key industries such as technology, finance, manufacturing, or services is advantageous.
  • Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills. Strong ability to build relationships at all levels, including C-suite executives. Proficiency in CRM tools and sales reporting.
  • Fluency in English is required. Proficiency in additional European languages (e.g., French, German, Italian, Spanish) is a plus.
  • Willingness to travel frequently across Europe up to 25-50% to support business needs.
