Promoting positive change
As an owner-managed family business with global business relationships we are committed to complying with applicable laws, respecting social and ethical standards as well as acting sustainably throughout the whole of the value chain. We make an important contribution to the enforcement of global human rights as well as labour, social and ecological standards and drive sustainable positive change forward wherever we operate.
This is part of our corporate culture, which is based on values of trust, transparency, reliability and fairness in dealing with customers, suppliers, business partners, employees and the public.
Respect for human rights -
Fair and safe working conditions
ISM is a family business. This can be seen both in our dealings with our own employees and also with workers employed by our suppliers.
We are committed to ensuring that our products are developed under fair, legal and humane conditions throughout every part of our supply chain. We place great value on protection of human rights, health and and safety in the workplace.
We comply with the applicable laws, regulations and management practices for protection of people and the environment in the countries in which we operate. We conduct our business activities in a way that contributes to an overall goal of sustainable development.
For this reason, we have developed a system that allows us to check our operational activities for harmful factors and to make the necessary provisions to reduce the load on people and the environment. We assess the chemicals used and replace them with less harmful alternatives. We consistently promote the correct disposal of waste as well as the possible reuse of materials as part of the circular economy.
As licence partner for PUMA SAFETY the PUMA sustainability regulations apply to ISM. The codes are displayed in our factories and provide binding standards for all partners throughout the whole of the supply chain. They are consistently checked for compliance in regular audits.
