Driving positive change
As a privately managed family business with international business relations, we are committed to complying with applicable laws, observing social and ethical standards, and acting sustainably along our entire value chain. We make a significant contribution to the enforcement of human rights around the world and the implementation of labour, social and environmental standards. We drive positive change at all our business locations.
This forms part of our corporate culture, which is founded upon the values of trust, transparency, reliability and fairness in our dealings with customers, suppliers, business partners, employees and the public.
Respect for human rights –
Fair and safe working conditions
ISM is a family business. This is reflected by our dealings with our own staff and the employees of our suppliers around the world.
We are committed to ensuring that our products are created under fair, lawful and humane conditions throughout our supply chain. Our main priority is to ensure respect for human rights and occupational health and safety.
We comply with the applicable laws, regulations and administrative practices for the protection of people and the environment in the countries in which we operate. We conduct our business in a way that contributes to the general goal of sustainable development.
We have developed systems that allow us to review our operational activities in search of harmful environmental impacts and take all the necessary and appropriate measures to reduce pollution for people and the environment. Our chemicals are frequently analysed and replaced with less harmful alternatives. We consistently promote the proper disposal of waste and the recycling of substances within a circular economy.
As a licensed partner of PUMA SAFETY, ISM has to comply with PUMA’s sustainability rules. The codes are displayed in our factories, setting binding standards for all partners along the global supply chain. Our compliance with the rules is consistently checked in regular audits.
