The gift of joy

Christmas is a really special time of the year when we look forward to the festivities, spend a relaxing time with our family and friends, and enjoy lots of surprises of all shapes and sizes.

In recent years, it’s become an ISM tradition to treat customers to little surprises in the run-up to Christmas. We’re also continuing to support “Aktion Lichtblicke”, an initiative that provides neighbourhood assistance to the youngest and most vulnerable members of our society – children, teenagers and families in need. Whenever families are given a glimmer of hope in their seemingly helpless situation, the great joy and relief on their faces reminds us how important this initiative really is – after all, exchanging gifts is an essential Christmas tradition, especially for Children.

We also support emergency aid efforts throughout the world by making our traditional Christmas donation to our partners at Doctors Without Borders, who provide medical care to people in need whenever local healthcare infrastructure is debilitated by natural disasters or man-made crises, such as in the refugee camps for the Rohingya people in Bangladesh or in the war zones of Yemen and the Central African Republic.
