Prize-winners: ALBATROS® and PUMA® Safety pick up the PLUS X Award

Honoured for outstanding quality and innovative drive 

Two products from ISM-PIP, manufacturer of safety footwear as well as work and outdoor fashion, recently picked up the prestigious PLUS X Award. The ALBATROS® TARAVAL GH LOW and the PUMA® Safety TURBO BLK/RED LOW impressed the jury with their outstanding quality, cutting edge design and excellent functionality.

Introduced to reward brands that catch the eye with their quality and innovative edge, the PLUS X Award is regarded as the world’s most important innovation prize for technology, sport and lifestyle. The independent jury – consisting of specialised editors, designers and industry experts – conducts a detailed examination of nominated products to select the best in each category.

ALBATROS® TARAVAL GH LOW – stylish and comfortable safety shoe, built for sustainability

The jury was particularly impressed with the TARAVAL GH LOW safety shoe from the ALBATROS® brand thanks to its blend of first-class workmanship, ergonomic structure and attractive design. “With the TARAVAL BLUE GH LOW, Albatros® is raising the bar in the field of sustainable safety footwear”, the jury’s verdict read. The shoe provides a reliable, comfortable and nonetheless stylish solution for rugged work environments. The high quality of the materials and the exceptional comfort – an impressive factor even after prolonged use – also deserve special mention. The Safety Knit Green® upper of the TARAVAL BLUE GH is made from partially recycled polyester fibers. This means that it now joins the ISM-PIP GREEN HEART family, which already includes two other models of safety footwear and workwear made from partially recycled materials.

PUMA® Safety TURBO BLK/RED LOW – excellent functionally with a sporting look

Equipped with the latest PWR.Foam® sole technology, the featherweight TURBO BLK/RED LOW safety shoe from PUMA® Safety also gained the jury’s approval for its outstanding quality and modern aesthetics. With its sporty design and high-quality workmanship, PUMA® Safety is again setting new standards in the industry. The ergonomic design guarantees optimised comfort and strong performance even under the harshest conditions. The jury praised the shoe as “a high-performance and comfortable solution for demanding work environments in a cutting-edge running shoe design”.
