PUMA® Safety presents the new Heavy Duty line of safety shoes – stylishly protective footwear for even the stiffest challenges

With the launch of its latest Heavy Duty safety shoe line under the PUMA® Safety brand, ISM Heinrich Krämer GmbH has created footwear that, with its punchy slogan “WHERE ROUGH MEETS TOUGH”, boldly underscores that uncompromising safety, robustness, style and comfort are not mutually exclusive, even in the most demanding work environments.

The Heavy Duty line of safety shoes from PUMA® Safety is more than a clear commitment to quality and reliability. It also embodies the company’s vision of creating footwear that adheres to the highest standards of functionality and design.

The HEAVY DUTY sole was among the key features in the development process. It comes with non-slip Octopus tread, certified Ladder Grip and a cushioning, direct-injected PU midsole that absorbs shocks and distributes the force across the entire surface of the foot.

Among the most eye-catching features of the line is the SCUFF CAP, an extra high overcap that was specifically designed for work in a kneeling position. The CTX® WATERPROOF MEMBRANE, an extremely durable, water-repellent and breathable high-tech membrane, keeps moisture away and ensures a pleasantly dry environment within the shoe.

The EVERCUSHION® MAX footbed adds the finishing touches to the overall package. Its cushioning, breathable and moisture-regulating textile surface ensures maximum comfort together with an antibacterial HYPRO ODOR CONTROL coating. This technological innovation supports the arch of the foot, reduces pressure points and minimises load on the feet, ankles and knees. A vital detail for anyone who spends the whole day on their feet.

All models in the line also feature a fibreglass toe cap, flexible FAP® penetration protection and an oil-resistant TPU outsole. Available in sizes 39 to 48, the line includes two models made of high-quality full-grain cow leather in safety class S3S and one model in safety class S7S that comes with an upper made of robust, breathable nylon fabric with microfibre.

Each model is also equipped with a BreathActive functional lining that keeps the footwear pleasantly comfortable.

The eye-catching PUMA® branding embossed on the side of the two full-grain cow leather models and the lavish details on the shoe emphasise the company’s love of the product and the premium quality of these safety shoes. Embossing the PUMA® logo eliminates the need for extensive stitching – another clear improvement to the durability, weather resistance and comfort of these shoes.

With the launch of the Heavy Duty line, PUMA® Safety is again highlighting its leading position in the area of work shoes and is raising the bar for future developments in this segment.

The HEACVY DUTY will be available from specialist retailers and selected online shops from autumn.
